Yoga, meditation, vegan food, Afrobeats dance, wellness education, and a conscious marketplace featuring local and BIPOC-owned businesses. We're excited to see you at the Grand Return of Eat Move Meditate!Eat Move Meditate's Outdoor Community Event is an activation of self-love, self-care, yoga, meditation, delicious vegan food, wellness education, and Afrobeats dance. This is our community’s way of inspiring social change and celebrating the African diaspora, Black History Month, Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, and Valentine's weekend. Lululemon is the official partner of Eat Move Meditate’s February Community Event. All levels welcome. Eat Move Meditate Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to transform the way underserved communities relate to food, movement, and mindful living through our Community Events, Kids Club, and Wellness Club initiatives. 100% of proceeds from this event support EMM's Kids Club and Wellness Club initiatives. Ticket includes event entry, yoga class, meditation class, Afrobeats class, wellness panel and dance party. Food sold separately. This is an outdoor event, but capacity is limited - yoga mat placement is on a first come, first served basis. **To respect your fellow students, we recommend all attendees arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to start time to check-in and set your yoga mat up. Latecomers will not be guaranteed a spot in class** TO BRING: 1. Please bring your own yoga mat. Option to bring yoga towel/meditation blanket. 2. Empty belly - lots of delicious food will be waiting for you (free snacks and refreshments, plus delicious meals available for purchase). 3. Extra cash for food and Conscious Marketplace purchases. 4. Open mind, open heart & your best dance moves. PARKING: There is free, but limited, parking on site. Additional parking on the surrounding streets (60th St and 61st St) is available. Please plan accordingly. If possible, carpool with a friend. See map below for details! SAFETY PROTOCOLS: The safety and well-being of our community is our top priority. Our team has set in place the following protocols: Provide access to masks, handwashing stations with soap and water and hand sanitizer containing at least 70% alcohol at the event.Staff health. Staff will monitor their temperature and overall health on a daily basis. They will stay home if any COVID-19 symptoms arise.Enhanced cleaning protocols. Staff will deep clean all common areas and high touch surfaces before and during the event using CDC and/or WHO cleaning and disinfecting guidelines.To protect the health and safety of others, please do not attend the event if you have one or more of the following symptoms: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.As per city mandates for outdoor events at our size, no proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will be required to enter the event.
