I’m looking at putting together a new group. I’ve been out of the game for a bit but, I’m settled back in the area and looking to build a new group. Me-bass player with over 30 years of experience. I spent a decade of that time on the road with various groups in Texas. I read, and play by ear. You-guitar, drums, and keys. If you know the Stax rhythm section then we will hit it off. It’s my dream to have a solid r&b/soul rhythm section first. If it takes off then we can add some horns. A vocalist would be good but, Booker T and Co. did a lot of great tunes without vocals. If you’re interested drop me a note. Location is flexible. I spend a fair amount of time in Roanoke and live and work in Lynchburg.
