Although it has been an integral part of the Japanese lifestyle and culture for centuries, it remains a mystery to many consumers in western countries. Event Details This event is $10/person and open to the public. FREE for current Ironfire members. 18+ only. ADA accessible. No pets permitted. No service animals please. Space is limited, so RSVP is required. There is plenty of free parking on site. Workspace tours, tastings, and networking opportunities will be available. Following the event, non-member guests are welcome to make use of our workspace and enjoy our amenities free of charge until we close at 6pm. Health & Safety Notice Face masks will be required during the event, except during tasting activities. About Your Presenter Greg Beck is a certified sake sommelier and shochu advisor. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 2006, he spent six years living and teaching in the Kansai and Hiroshima regions of Japan and would spend the next 5 years working as a journalist for Tokyo Broadcasting System in New York City. In 2021, he opened California's first and only sake specialty shop as a pop up inside Long Beach Beer Lab, where he also brews craft beer professionally.
