An introduction to splitboard touring including a gear check, setup instruction, mellow tour at Stowe Mountain Resort, and après fun at RC. Splitboard Tour 101 hosted by Ranch Camp with support from Splitboard VT and Weston Snowboards... $95 with rental $50 without rental Lunch included for all participants (burrito, chips, pico, cookie) Limited to 8 Spots Bring your own boots (BYOB) DET'S:*Riders must be confident making turns on Intermediate blue trails, this is a beginner splitboard tour, not a beginner snowboard lesson. 9:00am meet at RC Rental boards will be ready to go Rentals include Board/Poles/Skins/Pack 9am-10am will be gear hand out /gear check We'll drive separately to Stowe Mountain Resort and park at Mountain Glen Dr. where there is a designated "Snowshoe Parking lot" Once at the resort we'll run through Splitboard setup. Tour Route: Home Run to Easy Mile then back down the same route to car Return to Ranch Camp for lunch and patio hangs around the fire. What to bring list - BYOB (Boots) - Regular resort clothing and gear - Clothing to Tour in ( this is a lighter weight jacket / upper body clothes that you will change out of at the top to put on your warm dry resort clothing, including a 2nd hat /balaclava and lighter gloves) - Water - Small Snack - Backpack to fit gear (on hand at RC if you need one)
