In July we bought a pair of Shih Tzus to get them out of a bad situation. We have worked on house training, had them fully vetted (for the first time in their lives), fixed and socialized. They are incredibly sweet and have so much love to give. They are great with our kids, dogs and cats. They are 4 1/2 years old. I do NOT want to separate them, they have been together since they were born and have had a difficult road before we rescued them. There IS a rehoming fee. Please understand that my feelings are if you cannot afford a reasonable rehoming fee, then you cannot afford to have them groomed and vetted regularly. Please don’t contact me to argue that $500 in too much for two fully vetted, healthy Shih Tzus. I want what’s best for them, not to “get rid” of them.
