Recently hired/paid $500 for snow removal from roof top, walkway and both decks. Fellow, about 38-42, indicated he did homes and businesses as his own small business. As a matter of fact, he did our roof back in 2015 for $250. Ok..back to yesterday's horror. Fellow shows up at 3:25 with NOTHING BUT HIS 'NEIGHBOR'. I said why not wait until tomorrow, it will be dark in about half hour?... He says, no, that's why I brought 'him' so we could knock it out. BTW, he brought NOTHING, no ladder, no shovel...absolutely nothing.. Mmmmmmm?!? I start getting concerned... Well, using MY LADDER AND SHOVELS, they took all 21" of snow from the roof, completely covered both decks BLOCKING MY NEARLY 78 YEAR OLD MOTHER INSIDE THE HOUSE... THEN JUST LEFT. HE JUST LEFT. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. DO NOT HIRE A ANYONE WITH THE PREVIOUS DESCRIPTION TO DO ANYTHING..I MEAN A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G FOR YOU. I don't want anyone else to be treated this poorly and scammed out of money..life is hard enough on our elderly population. Please let's protect them and not use them. This human behavior of elder abuse or even abuse in general, can't be a natural one.
