So we’re just supposed to blindly believe that all of this stuff happened? Please. I just want to do some research to find out if the Gurnee school district is actually teaching critical race theory in the 1619 project. I also would love to find out if this altercation actually occurred. If it was at a school board meeting, it’s public record. My sister is a schoolteacher in IL so I know a thing or two about what would and what would not be considered public record. Homeschooling is one thing but embellishments like “my husband fought the entire school board in a knock down brawl” and “our children love math in six weeks” are things that people aren’t going to take seriously. One of my college professors lives in the Orland area and he and his wife homeschool. They are both teachers/former teachers in the wife’s case. They don’t pontificate on the Internet about homeschooling and sticking it to the libs. They have far more important things to do. The entire irony of this is it you’re saying that my “mind is closed“ But yet you’re blindly believing somebody on the Internet says that they fought the school district single-handedly and returned their kids into math lovers and completely “deprogrammed them” in six weeks. You’re believing this because you’re jumping on the echo chamber train of “you’re right and he’s wrong.” You’re also believing this strictly because they are Trump supporters and I am not. I voted libertarian last election by the way. Oh and by the way, I’m not a communist and I’ve never been arrested.
