A day of service focused on Farm beautification and Marketplace maintenance at SHAMBA-CULTIVATING GROUND in East Point Come on out for a day of service, learning and family fun on Monday January 17th - a day ON, not a day off. Take Marta to the East Point train station and enjoy the regular bus service! Carpool or walk down to the farm on East Point's newly established sidewalks. Our service activities include planting of winter flowers for beautification of the space, sifting and processing healthy compost bed repair and maintenance of the outdoor kitchen space. We serve as a beacon of light and hope in our immediate and wider community, and winter time is a great time to prune the trees, tighten up the scenery and collectively affirm the relatively soon emergence of a bountiful spring. A very family friendly environment. We have two parking lots for convenient entry and exit as well as increased, safe street parking on Washington Road and in the surrounding neighborhood.
