I had to make a very hard decision, but want what's best for my conure. Believed to be a girl. But not 100% sure on it. She's going on 4 years old. She would like to be the ONLY bird. As she wants all the attention. And loves being out of her cage and on your shoulder. If you put her down she will fly to you she is a velcro bird. Requires and deserves 24/7 attention. She is people friendly once she warms up to you. Don't expect her to just love you day 1. It takes time. She gets very stimulated if you have tv or radio to loud or if you are one that likes to yell. And may bite. Talk in sweet or normal tone voice. NO TEFLON IN YOUR HOUSE DO NOT USE THE SELF CLEANING FUNCTION ON OVENS. NO CANDLES, NO PERFUME, NO AIR FRESHENERS, NO HAIR SPRAY, NO SMOKING NOT EVEN THE GREEN. birds have very delicate lungs. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH She will be amazing for someone that is retired/stay at home. She can come with her travel cage to make it easier to transport.
