Press release from the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office: Jan 8, 2022 Due to public health concerns with the rapid spread of respiratory illnesses, criminal jury trials scheduled for the week January 10-14, 2022 have been postponed by order of the judges of Caddo District Court. Witnesses subpoenaed to appear in jury trials during that week should contact the party who summonsed them to receive further instructions on when to appear. However, all criminal courts in Caddo District Court will remain open and all defendants, including those set for jury trials next week, still must appear in person unless specifically excused from appearance by a court order. The rescheduling of criminal jury trials will take place in open court and will be on the record. This press release was produced by the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office.
