Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 01/07/2022 4:30 AM 01/06/22   2022-0051, Criminal Sexual Assault: On 01/06/22 at 2:00 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies took a report for a criminal sexual assault which occurred in 2018 in the 0-99 block of Afton Road in Oswego Township. The incident is under investigation. 2022-0053, ID Theft: On 01/06/22 at 4:42 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies received a report of an identity theft that occurred in the 2100 block of Route 31, Oswego Township. The incident is under investigation. 2022-0054, Domestic Battery: On 01/06/22 at 9:25 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies responded to a residence in the 7300 block of US Route 34 in Bristol Township for a report of a domestic battery.  The incident is under investigation. 2022-0057, Hit and Run: On 01/06/22 at 11:23 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Illinois Route 47 and Helmar Rd. in Kendall Township for a report of a hit and run traffic crash. The investigation is ongoing. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
