To celebrate the 325th anniversary of the Sears family and our "Shipping, Slaves & Armaments Inc" business, we have reconstructed the flagship and workhorse of our fleet from 1719, the "Sylvia Mae".
The Sylvia Mae served Shipping, Slaves & Armaments for over 20 years before a storm sunk her off Barbados with the loss of 47 crew and 376 slaves.
Come visit our reproduction SLAVE SHIP and enjoy our re-enactors on the Noyo River!
Force feeding of bug infested gruel and stagnant water to our slave re-enactors is at 12PM, 2PM & 4 PM
Sickly slave re-enactors thrown over board at 12:30PM, 2:30PM and 4:30 PM.
Flint lock firearm training by our re-enactor crewmen at 1PM, 3PM and 5PM
Fun for the whole family and a great history lesson !
Talk with our re-enactor crewmen as they drink Barbados rum and whip unruly slaves.
Listen to our pastor tell the slaves about Jesus!
Enjoy our scantly clad re-enactor slaves chained below deck as your kids force feed them
bug infested gruel and stagnant water !
Watch as your kids enjoy learning to load and fire flint lock firearms and their thrill from hearing the sickly slaves hit the water.
No attention to detail spared to make this the most realistic, enjoyable, entertaining and educational experience you and your family can have.
