Have you sung madrigals in a college or community ensemble? Joined in rounds or performances at Ren fairs? Or do you especially love rehearsing the occasional pre-Bach piece in your community or church choir? I’m looking for other singers who’d enjoy getting together (using current choral practices for masking, distancing, etc) to do Renaissance music. It could start as a monthly casual song circle and grow into a performing group with weekly rehearsals during certain seasons if enough singers want to perform. Meeting near downtown Vancouver area. I have various possibilities in mind and no firm plans yet; I’m posting this ad to assess if there’s enough interest in this type of music here. Please reply with “CL ad” in the subject line.
