Premier Linen Company in Marietta, PA is seeking a FT Lead and PT Associate for Table Linen Rental Company. The Order Selector chooses the table linens for each rental order, bags and labels them. When the linens return at the end of the rental, the Order Selector assists with counting the returns. The Lead Order Selector creates the delivery and pickup routes for our drivers (within 75 mile radius of our facility), and will be trained on the routes as back-up driver. Company-owned vehicles do not require CDL, they are Promaster and Transit. The lead role is Monday to Friday, 6:30/7am to 3:30/4pm daily, and the PT role will be flexible, with some evenings required starting mid-April. The lead role has supervisory responsibilities, and is responsible for training the "orders team" and the "returns team," and works alongside these teams to complete the weekly orders going out and coming in. We are a family-owned business with about 15 employees. This setting is very different from large warehouse fulfillment places. Salary will be set based on a person's supervisory experience and/or additional skills. Job Title: Order Selector Lead-FT, and Assoc-PT NO WEEKENDS KEY RESULTS: Ensure that product is sent out and received back, accurately and on time. KEY OBJECTIVES: 1. Ensure all orders are pulled. 2. Ensure all orders are returned, counted, and entered in software. 3. Track priority items for weekly turn-around rentals. 4. Ensure subrentals arrive and return on time. 5. Escalate missing items and orders. 6. Order supplies. 7. Train and supervise team members. 8. Create delivery routes. 9. Drive the route when needed. TASKS OF THIS POSITION: The following items will be completed by the Lead Order Selector or members of his/her team: 1. Orders going out: a. Print labels and picklists for orders going out each week. b. Pull orders and bag order, ensuring 100% correct and properly labeled. 2. Returning orders: a. Count linens upon return within 24 hours, moving priority items through first. b. Follow protocol for missing items and orders. 3. Send out shipped orders and ensure timely returns. 4. Create routes from rental software. a. Delivery deadlines are met. b. Efficiency of vehicles is considered. c. Priority items are monitored. 5. Supervision: a. Train order packers and returns team, assure double-counts for missing items. b. Provide affirmation and feedback as needed for teams to excel at tasks. 6. Routes and Drivers: a. Provide route info to drivers, ideally in writing on route. b. Assist with loading vehicles. c. Upon return from route, convey details to appropriate department. 7. Physical area/Supplies a. Keep desk and table area clean and organized. b. Empty Trash c. Keep counters clean from extra items that accumulate (i.e. Customer items that need returned.) d. Keep warehouse supplies stocked and reordered. 8. Subrentals: a) Count sub-rented items the same day they arrive to ensure order is correct. Escalate if order is incorrect. b) Box sub-rented items and ensure they are returned to carrier by deadline. 9. Customer Service: a. Assist customers with pickups and returns. b. Ensure customer understands return process. SKILLS NEEDED: 1. Excellent attention to detail. 2. Able to work independently and fulfill tasks without supervision. 3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. 4. Computer skills, especially Excel. 5. Supervisory experience is required. 6. A working knowledge of Lancaster, York, Harrisburg is a plus. 7. Able to work most of the shift while standing. 8. Must be able to lift 50 lbs (on occasion).
