Job Posting for Field Service Technician (Apprentice) A Full-time Entry Level Field Service Technician Apprentice position is immediately available with on-the-job training for the right candidate. Meeting a successful 90-day introductory period may qualify you for advancement. The position demands a high level of competency for on-site productivity and communications throughout installation projects. Multi day remote water conservation surveys, flow control device installations or re-occurring maintenance at existing plumbing fixtures, and materials management will be required. The ideal candidate is team-oriented who is customer service focused and adapts to overcome challenges. Job/Project Responsibilities: • Performs installation services alongside team of Technicians and Facilities Engineers • Follows all hospital rules of etiquette, health and safety • Organizes and maintains tools, equipment, materials, and assists with startup and closeout of projects • Records details in accurate and consistent formats for all work completed • Reports project progress to Lead and assists in handling issues as they arise • Adapts to scope variations in order to meet customer requirements and company goals • Develops and displays product knowledge and efficient on-site productivity strategies • Manages materials including inventory and prepares tools and performance essentials • Maintains personal medical records for badging requirements for working within hospitals • Availability for work on flexible hours including some Saturdays and evenings (major holidays off) Character/Business Acumen Expectations: • Punctual • Business casual dress and positive attitude • Self-motivated and diligent in achieving goals • Emphasizes team achievement over self • Shows personal pride in quality of workmanship • Friendly, enthusiastic attitude with a strong customer focus • Ability to exercise flexibility and resourcefulness in challenging situations Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • Mechanical aptitude and adaptable to changing conditions • Willingness to work with hands and basic plumbing tools • Effective written email and verbal communication • Forward thinking for project needs including materials, tools and techniques • Working knowledge of computer and scanning device applications with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Outlook Email and Our Fixture Care Application. • Physically fit to walk for long periods with agility when carrying medium loads bending or stooping • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. • Occasional travel and overnight stay • Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license • Clear background check and drug screening • Immunizations required to work in Healthcare facilities About Water Saver Solutions, Inc.: Water Saver Solutions, Inc. is veteran owned company founded in 2008 serving the healthcare industry’s water conservation needs.
