Solar Energy Solutions is looking for some part-time and intermittent help. In the past this position has been very popular with students as we can accommodate a variety of schedules and orchestrate project around a student's busy life. This is an entry level position and a great opportunity for someone looking to get some experience in the solar industry. We are mostly a solar service company. This means you will get hands on experience working on solar electric systems, solar hot water heating systems and solar pool heating systems. Some of the thing you will do and learn are: rooftop safety and fall protection, design, system layouts, mounting, wiring, conduit and plumbing runs, repair work, common solar parts and much, much more. To be considered, a person must be extremely physically fit and able to work under the most strenuous of environmental conditions. Solar installation work is both physically and mentally difficult work and consists of conditions including and not limited to high temperatures in summer and cold and wet in the winter, ladders extended 40 feet, steep roofs with cliff like fall offs, hot attics, insulation and using a variety of power tools for work. A professional appearance is required and applicants should be personable, willing to take direction and able to maintain a positive and pleasant attitude. We are a Covid 19 conscience company. All employees must be vaccination, boosted and able to show proof of such. Face mask covering is required at all times. Pay is currently starting at $15.00/hour. Rapid increases in wages are the goal. The work is intermittent / part time / and at times full-time depending on the workload.
