Republicans (Ted Cruz+others) have blocked appointments for US diplomats and Ambassadors. The idea is to blackmail, or hold hostage, to force the personal jerk agenda forward. In what world is it an advantage to NOT have diplomatic communication with another World Power? This is another intentional obstruction hoping for failure of the governing party. This is only self-serving and aimed at creating failure for political purposes and donations. Where would we be if the republicans had actually been honorable in their loss in office?
