MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) - FLAGGING (To start as early as Monday 1/10/2022) Growing company (PRIME Traffic Control - ), looking for dependable employees that are wanting a company home that allows for growth and where management genuinely cares about the team. Work includes flagging traffic. PAY: Starting Hourly rate: $16.00/hr (Straight Time - first 40 hrs/week); $24.00/hr (Overtime - any hours over 40 hrs/week) We typically work 5 ten hour days plus applicable drive time (any driving to/from the work location over 1hr. If/when traveling overnight (optional to employees if/when accepting work locations over 1hr away from their homes), per diem paid at $20/night (for overnight stays only - if needed. - Company pays hotels directly. Try to keep team members in decent hotels (Hampton Inn/Residence in Type). BENEFITS: Great job growth opportunities. Take-home, company provided pick-up trucks for employees who have attained the role of Foreman or above. REQUIREMENTS: Must have valid Florida driver's license. Must have reliable mode of transportation (typically, our employees meet up either at the job site or catch a ride with a foreman driving a company truck). Must be willing and able to stand outside for long periods of time. Must be able to pick up close to 50 pounds safely. If interested, employees may be asked to travel for overnight stays within the State of Florida Work to keep and maintain a good attitude of learning the work and supporting the team. PRIME Traffic Control is a drug free work place. Must be willing to submit and pass drug/alcohol testing/screenings. Must be willing and able to absorb and understand safety training and subsequent standards and follow them - keeping you, your team and the general public SAFE. PREFERENCES: FDOT Certified Flagging Certification a plus. If no certification, employee would be expected to complete a 4 hour training course prior to starting work. MORE ABOUT THE COMPANY: PRIME Traffic Control was established in Winter Garden, FL with the original purpose of supporting the Utility & Road Building Industries. Our work includes setting up safe work zones to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic. JOB DUTIES: Support Advanced MOT Foreman setting up, moving and replacing: signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, message boards, etc. Drive company truck to support Advanced MOT Foreman setting up signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, message boards, etc.
