SAKÉ + ANIMEEvery Wednesday from 5–10pm at Skyline Bar + Lounge we are pairing two Japanese influences, Anime and Saké! Why? You may ask. Well, Nō Studios is inspired by East Asian culture, seen in our name and beyond. Nō 能, derives from the Sino-Japanese root word for “skill” or “talent” and the word play between a rejection artists are so often told. ANIME, a mature and rich subculture, influences the development of Japanese culture and society. SAKÉ, the national beverage of Japan, is essential to Japanese lifestyle and culture. It’s popularity has grown internationally, increasing its fans, like us, at Skyline Bar + Lounge. Therefore, we’ve curated a calendar of staff favorites and worldly popular anime through March, and paired each with a speciality saké.
