Maintenance level 1 General Responsibilities: Clean and mop floors, and vacuum carpets throughout the facility on a daily basis. Maintain cleanliness of all bathrooms throughout the facility, ensure supplies are refilled as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the pantry; ensure supplies are refilled as needed. Sanitize daily or more often as needed, all high-touch and high-use areas including restrooms, elevators, stairways, phones, copiers and other equipment used by multiple staff and/or consumers. Respond quickly and efficiently to cleanliness emergencies (spills, messy bathrooms, unbagged trash etc.) Keep sidewalk, front stoop, and wheelchair lift clean and free of snow and other hazards. Consolidate trash into a centralized area and place it on the sidewalk for evening pickup. Perform minor maintenance requests including light bulb replacement, paint touch-ups, minor plumbing repairs, furniture and equipment moves and similar tasks. Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, supplies and equipment. Coordinate requisition for replacement of supplies, and equipment in need of repair with. Job will go perm with health vision dental and a 403b pension w company contribution MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Must be covid vaccinated Must have a HS Degree or GED Must be able to pass a drug test (Not for marijuana) Will have to pass through a background check Minimum 6 months years of experience working in building maintenance or janitorial service Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds and use stairs between floors without problems. Superb attention to detail - ability to catch and fix errors before they become emergencies. Excellent judgment and problem solving skills.
