FREE East Bay Camp & School Fair returns March 5 with free activities; over 80 exhibitors for camps, schools, sports, arts, STEM, coding. FREE  East Bay Camp & School Fair is in Emeryville on Saturday, Mar. 5. With free parking and free admission the fair is in the Emeryville Center of Community Life, 4727 San Pablo Ave. The Camp and School Fair features free activities and over 80 exhibitors allowing attendees to view a smorgasbord of camps, enrichment programs, schools, performing arts, S.T.E.M. & S.T.E.A.M. programs, preschools, cooking, educational, sports and other programs available this spring and summer.  The other 4 Bay Area Camp & School Fairs are: On Saturday, Feb. 26, the Tri-Valley Camp & School Fair returns to San Ramon at Pine Valley Middle School Auditorium. The Contra Costa Camp & School Fair is on Sunday, Feb. 27, in Lafayette at Acalanes High School. Silicon Valley Camp & School Fair on Saturday, Mar. 19, is in Sunnyvale at Fremont High School, 1279 Sunnyvale Saratoga Rd. at Fremont Ave.  10th Marin Camp Fair is at Dominican University, 1475 Grand Ave. in San Rafael on Sunday, Mar. 20. Every Camp Fair is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free admission and free parking.  Bay Area Festivals is also presenting in 2022:Super Valentine's Boutique (Feb. 6 in Concord), Bay Area KidFest (31st festival May 28-30 on Memorial Day Weekend in Concord), Contra Costa Con 3 (Jan. 23) and Contra Costa Con 4 (July17) both in Concord, Bay Area Kids' Book Fairs (Oct. 15 in Silicon Valley and Oct. 16 in East Bay), Tri-Valley Halloween (Oct. 30 in Dublin) and Super Holiday Boutique (Dec. 3 in Pleasant Hill and Dec. 4 in Concord). Bay Area KidFest was voted by the readers of Bay Area Parent as the Best Family Event or Community Fair/Festival in the East Bay and has been voted Best Community Event  five consecutive times by readers of Claycord.com. Bay Area Festivals has donated over $85,000 cash to educational, health, sports and youth non-profits this decade. Producer Jay Bedecarre says, “We’ve had an outstanding response to our Camp & School Fairs since we began in 2013 and we're so glad to return with five fairs this year. "The fairs provide families with a one-stop shopping experience as they plan their spring break and summer activities.” He adds that there is a wide variety of schools and camps for children, teens and families including preschools, day camps, overnight, performing arts, S.T.E.M. & S.T.E.A.M. programs, YMCA, cooking and sports. Camps from coast to coast take part.  The first 200 families each day receive a free Camp Bag. There is a free raffle drawing for camps and KidFest tickets. Anyone bringing a can of food for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano will receive an extra raffle ticket for each can. Admission and parking are FREE.  The Camp & School Fairs will be following all state and county health and safety protocols. At this time, face coverings are mandated for everyone attending the fair.
