Our sweet girl Candy is seeking a new foster home, or foster to adopt home. She's the sweetest girl who's currently fostering with a cat and she seems too interested in the cat and it's not working out and foster mom is giving us until this weekend to move her. We understand it's not fair to the cat to be uncomfortable in her own home so we're seeking another home for Candy. This is what her current home says about her: Candy is a sweet, energetic 3 y/o Lab mix with tons of love to give. Her sleek black coat is accentuated by her beautiful, soulful brown eyes with quirky salt and pepper eyebrows. She loves spending time outside, and would do best with a solid 60-90 minutes of activity each day. Candy is learning to do her business on walks, but could use some help walking more politely on leash. Candy is interested in everything, but more than anything she *loves* people. This girl can’t get enough affection and she loves to give it in return. While in foster, Candy has learned to play independently with her stuffed toys, and will often go into her crate for chill time. She also sleeps through the night in her crate. Candy has achieved a fairly solid “sit” through clicker training, and she has so much potential for more! She is eager to please and very food motivated, so with some help, she will go very far. She should be in a cat free home, optimally an only dog while she learns some manners.
