Office worker by day... have been playing piano since a young age, high school and college jazz band, have kept up with it since as a hobby. I know about 20% of Real Book I off the top of my head, can comp chords and do basic improv in any key. Like to play across styles, old stuff like Duke.. like a lot of mid-century stuff like Horace Silver, Monk, Brubeck, Bill Evans, etc... through more progressive stuff like Weather Report, Bob James, Keith Jarrett.
Happy to share the piano and cover bass sometimes.
Looking for guitar, bass, drums, and ideally 1-3 horns. Get together and play for fun, every other week for a few hours, work out a repertoire of tunes. Everybody gets solos and we all get better. Not opposed to playing out but I'm not dying to gig. Most important is solid skills and low ego, enjoy learning and contributing to a group.
