Greetings, From Queer Mountain is a monthly LGBTQ storytelling showcase started in Austin and now featured in New Orleans at Allways Lounge. Each month we host a queer storytelling show with amazing and fabulous storytellers. Our theme for our January show is Stay Golden in honor of Betty White. Doors at 6:30, show at 7 pm. We are limiting seating due to COVID. We are requiring masks be worn at all times except when actively drinking. Vax cards or proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours will be required for entry. This month our show features: Precious EphemeraLadee LucerneJeff D.Amy COllinsShep KellyCorrine and more! Also, we have an accessible entry on the side of the building so please let staff know if you need to use that and we will assist you. Amanda G. is a New Orleans stand up comedian. She has been featured around New Orleans including House of Blues, Howlin' Wolf, Tipitina's, and Dragon's Den. She has performed all over the country most recently at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. She opened for Michael Che during the New Orleans leg of his tour and has been part of Lady Laughs, Memphis, Midwest Queer Comedy, Mutiny Radio and Beast Village Festivals. She headlined the Crossroads Festival in Indianapolis. You might recognize her as a regular host of Greetings, from Queer Mountain and the Near and Queer to My Heart podcast or on those rare nights that she isn't on some stage making audiences laugh...as that girl at the end of the bar.
