This comprehensive 2-day course will cover everything from fetal development, comfort in pregnancy, coping techniques, birth positions, a support plan for partners, and so much more. ⁣The birth process has long been kept in the dark, but we all know that the more you know about something, the less scary it becomes. I want to turn your questions and fears into answers and confidence! ⁣ My name is Kirsten Freeman. I am a seasoned birth doula, student midwife and I have been teaching childbirth education for about 5 years. I am so passionate about helping families find their strength and courage during the birth process. Media has long portrayed birth as an event you should be 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 to participate in. When in reality it doesn’t have to be that way at all! When you are informed and motivated you can have a birth that you love, and a positive memory to look back on. ⁣ ⁣ I know, I know… the thought of taking a childbirth class may seem overwhelming, you may be wondering if you even *need* to take one in the first place, and worst of all some classes are just 𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆… It is my goal to keep you and your partner engaged and learning things in a way that you’ll remember when it’s most important! We’ll have lots of opportunities for hands-on activities and time to get out of your seats. 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴! ⁣ ⁣ You’ll leave each session more confident and truly feeling illuminated. There will be some at-home activities provided as well to supplement your learning. You will be added to a private Facebook group with class participants so everyone can keep in touch, share milestones, and set up time to get together! You’ll also have the option to create a Birth Options sheet to take with you to the hospital. ⁣ This will be the 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 decision you’ll make when it comes to preparing for your birth experience!
