Join this STEM LEGO Workshop for homeschool students to take the Build a Bridge Challenge. FIRST TECH Challenge Team the Metal Mavericks would like to invite you to a STEM Workshop. In the Workshop we will go into the science and technology behind bridges. Then students will be challenged to build a bridge out of LEGO. We will work through the Engineering Design Process and use it to develop the bridges. Open to all homeschool students. No experience necessary. All proceeds will benefit the FIRST TECH Challenge METAL MAVERICKS robotics team. Cost is $15 per student (all proceeds go to the Metal Mavericks FTC team) Date: Monday January 24th 2022 @2pm - 3:30pm Location: Jacksonville Public Library West Branch, 1425 Chaffee Rd S, Jacksonville, FL 32221
