Description
Create valentines for your loved ones with watercolor! I love Valentine’s Day! They say love is in the air so come share some of that love with me and lets make some cards for our love ones. For this workshop, we will be creating Valentine’s Day cards easily with watercolor and stamps. I love creating these cards because it shares something personal from me to you and I want you to do the same with your loved ones. In this workshop, you will learn how to use a stamp to create the image for you. There will be different stamps to choose from. Next, the watercolor is applied to the card how ever you choose and we get to paint without the stress of it being perfect. Pretty simple, plus fun. Each of you will get to create at least 5 watercolor Valentine’s Day cards with envelopes to take home with you. All supplies included. Teresa Cook is born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is an Abstract Architectural Watercolor artist and has been painting watercolor since 2012. She obtained a Bachelors in Fine Arts from UNF in 2012. Over the last 8 years, she has been traveling to different countries as well as around her native city. She has always found pleasure in the landscapes and buildings that have been created over time. Each of her watercolor and ink paintings are created on a smooth paper called, “Yupo”, are meant to capture a moment in time without the interruption of people. Show life without the “rough” impacts of people. So you will not see human interaction within her art. She just traveled to Amsterdam for the 2019 Urban Sketchers Symposium, capturing the Old and New Amsterdam. She wants to share the world through her eyes. Watercolor Workshops is now in session.
