Description

Join us for an insightful and lively discussion on the importance of Black Educators in the region. There will be small bites and cocktails! The Energy Innovation Center will provide a beautiful view of the city while the following panelists discuss the great need for Black Educators in Pittsburgh: Darryl T. Wiley, CEO, Fund for Advancement of Minorities through Education; Donnell Wilkins, Principal, Propel Andrew Street; Dr. Crystal Rose, Director of Pre-Apprenticeship, Education Department Adjunct, Carlow University; and Dr. Rhonda Threet, Learning Environment Specialist, Pittsburgh Public Schools, Adjunct Professor, Point Park University. Come with your questions about our programs and thoughts about how you can be a part of the solution. We will also be recruiting aspiring educators for our programs: The Propel Teacher Residency Program and the FAME Teachers' Academy. We will be requiring masks for this event.
