Description
Victory Mission invites Southern Missouri's Single Moms to attend our Annual SingleMomzRock Valentine's Banquet for a night of encouragement For the ninth year, SingleMomzRock is hosting the largest event in the area for single mothers in partnership with The Life of a Single Mom. On Saturday, February 19, at the Savoy Ballroom, 200 local single moms will experience a night out complete with encouragement from keynote speaker, Jennifer Maggio, worship, and free childcare. This year we want to encourage women with the incredible news that they were created for such a time as this. Our special guest speaker, Jennifer Maggio is an author, speaker, mother of three, and founder of The Life of a Single Mom Ministries, a national nonprofit headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a former homeless, abused, single mom, she is passionate about equipping, empowering, and encouraging single mothers to live a free life paid for in Christ. She has written 4 single parenting books and has been featured in several hundred media venues as a national single parenting expert, including The New York Times, Dr. James Dobson radio, CBN, Daystar Television, and more. She is an 11-time Circle of Excellence Award Recipient in Corporate America and was named a 2017 Top 10 Most Influential Leader in America by Dr. John Maxwell. Formal dress is optional, this event is all about YOU, so we want you to be comfortable! Childcare check-in will begin at 4:30pm and doors will open at 5:00pm. We have 50 childcare spots open, first come first serve. Please only utilize the childcare if you CANNOT find other childcare. Childcare will be onsite at Victory Mission (200 W Commercial St) just down the street from the venue. Childcare is for children 12 and under only. They will be fed and have fun activities to do through the evening. More information about the event can be found at victorymission.com/SMRBanquet. 417 is facing brokenheartedness-homelessness and poverty are hurting our community.
