Description

This is a Private Applicators Training Class for people seeking a passing grade on their Private Applicator Category Exam. The Private Applicator license is required to any pesticide applicator that use Restricted Use Pesticides (RUP) for the purpose of producing an agricultural commodity on property owned or rented by the applicator or the applicator’s employer. Instructor: Luis O. Rodriguez, UF/IFAS Extension Small Farms and Pesticide Education Agent, Polk County. Note: 1) The actual class will start at 8:30 am and finished at 12:00 pm. Participants that want to take the exam the same day I will be providing computer test from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (This test if free of charge). 2) To take the test the same day the participants must have a voucher number. You can get your voucher number in the following website: https://pesticideexam.ifas.ufl.edu/ Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County as we offer science-based workshops, webinars, and events to help you garden and landscape in central Florida. We collect demographic information to ensure equitable access to Extension programs by all of our audiences. Each individual's participation is optional.
