CBS Miami January 7, 2022 One of two men accused of setting a Christmas tree on fire that damaged the iconic Southernmost Point buoy in Key West has turned himself into police. Twenty-one-year-old David Perkins, from Leesburg, has been charged with criminal mischief with damages over $1,000. An arrest warrant has been issued for the second man, 21-year-old Skylar Jacobson of Henrietta, Texas. Key West police said arrangements have been made for Jacobson to turn himself in.
