Press release from Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce: 2022-01-06 NIGHT AND DAY SHOW AT PLAYERS CIRCLE THEATRE FEATURES COLE PORTER SONGS Musical Tells Story through Songs "Night and Day," an original musical that tells a touching, funny, and emotional journey of four friends who fall out of love and back in love on a night and day in a wealthy home during the 1930's.  The show runs through January 16 at the Players Circle Theatre, located at the Shell Factory in North Fort Myers. The musical features over thirty of Cole Porter's greatest songs, including "Anything Goes," "Begin the Beguine," "True Love," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "It's De-Lovely," and "All of You."  And, of course, "Night and Day." "Night and Day" is based on an idea by Players Circle's artistic director Robert Cacioppo, who also conceived and wrote the show with director and choreographic director Arthur D'Alessio. Performances are Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturdays at 7pm; Fridays at 8pm; and Sundays at 2pm.  There is an additional 2pm matinee on Wednesday, January 12.  Individual tickets are $40 and $50 (VIP table seating).  Tickets may be ordered online at Playerscircletheater.com or by calling 239-800-3292. The theatre hopes that its patrons have been vaccinated, but if they haven't been vaccinated, for their own safety and that of others, wearing a mask until seated will be greatly appreciated.  The theatre complies with all CDC guidelines. Theatre team members will continue to wear masks out of an abundance of caution.  The theatre continues to be thoroughly sanitized before every performance. A special food and drink menu is available for nightclub patrons, serving delicious, shareable plates and drinks in the theatre 45 minutes before performances and during shows.  Full dinner and bar also available at the adjacent Southern Grill.
