During this paint party, we will observe the 7 principles of Kwanzaa by painting Adinkra symbols to illustrate the principles. This is a great way to bond with your family and establish a tradition of celebrating Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith. These 7 principles of Kwanzaa, reconnects us with our African cultural and historical heritage by uniting mediation and study of African traditions. This workshop welcomes all people of all heritages by painting Adinkra symbols to illustrate the principles. Light refreshments are served during this paint party along with happy uplifting music!
