Press release from the Metropolitan Police Department: January 5, 2022 (Washington, DC) - Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Burglary Two offense that occurred on Sunday, December 26, 2021, in the 5100 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. At approximately 6:07 am, the suspect entered a residential building at the listed location. Once inside, the forcibly gained entry to a mailroom, took property, and then fled the scene. The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in this video: Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
