Press release from the Village of Port Chester: January 6, 2022 - 10:29am In an abundance of caution, the Village of Port Chester's Department of Public Works will pick up Friday's refuse & recycling tonight (Thursday 1/6/22) beginning at 8:00 PM.    As the forecast for Friday is signaling for potentially larger accumulations of snowfall, the village is proactively adjusting its schedule to ensure that it has the staff and organization to clean, clear, and maintain our roadways, especially to the benefit of emergency vehicles, during this pending storm event.   If your refuse or recycling is not picked up this evening, or if you do not get your items out to the curb in time, your items will then be picked up as part of your next scheduled collection day.
