NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Due to heavy snowfall expected to impact the region overnight and into Friday morning, schools and community organizations are implementing severe weather plans. Westchester Schools: Closings, Delays, Remote Friday UPDATE Due to the forecasted inclement weather, all classes at Iona Prep have been canceled for tomorrow, Jan. 7. Also due to anticipated overnight snowfall, the New Rochelle YMCA will have a delayed opening on Friday, Jan. 7. The facility will reopen at 10 a.m. Remote learning will resume at 10 a.m. Group exercise classes will resume as of 10 a.m. Morning UPK classes are canceled, while evening UPK classes will take place as scheduled.
