NORWALK, CT — The opening of city buildings and offices in Norwalk has been further delayed following Friday morning's snowstorm, city officials said. In a statement Friday morning, city spokesperson Josh Morgan said the storm slowed overnight which bumped up accumulation totals in Norwalk. He also noted that while accumulation can vary, over 6 inches of snow had fallen across the city as of 8 a.m. According to Morgan, city garbage and recycling collection is now canceled Friday and routes for the day will be collected Saturday.
