Each of our open positions are offered as both an internship and full-time permanent placement. We encourage college and university students to apply, as part of the POWER culture is to “hire within” after a successful internship. All positions are 100% remote supporting our Morris Plains, NJ office. ABOUT POWER® POWER CHANGES LIVES Mission Statement POWER®’s (People Organized Working Evolving Reaching) mission is to provides low-income, minority, and underserved communities the capacity to build, thrive, and create sustainable futures, eliminating disparities in aging, education, finance, food insecurity, health, housing wellness, and social justice and reform. History POWER® was established in 2010 to directly address the needs of the community, deploying initiatives such as Project F.E.E.D.® (Friends Ensuring Every Dinner), Project Warmth®, and iLearn® under a 501(c)(3) sponsorship. On September 10, 2018, POWER® obtained its 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. Thereafter POWER® expanded their scope of services to include a specific focus on aging, education, finance, food insecurity, health, housing wellness, and social justice and reform in low-income, minority, and underserved communities (LIMUs), adding programs The Justice League®, Senior Connect®, iAmArt®, iPlay®, and LavaLove®. Current Programs POWER® has several initiatives to directly address disparities in low-income, minority, and underserved communities throughout the United States.
