Here are the top 3 stories today in Colorado Springs: Due to inclement weather, El Paso County Public Health has announced a schedule change in community testing sites for COVID-19. The new schedule will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will affect four testing sites across El Paso County, including Citadel Mall, Chapel Hills Mall, El Paso County Public Health South, and the Falcon testing site at the intersection of Old Meridian Rd. and Chicago Ave. (KOAA.com Colorado Springs and Pueblo News) Major changes may be coming to Platte Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs. As one of the busiest corridors in the city, officials are considering ways to slow and restrict traffic on the downtown end by reducing the number of lanes and creating a median for bikes and events.
