While Superheat tries to place workers near their home, this position does require extensive travel and variable hours of work. Projects vary from 1-30+ days. When working away from home we offer reimbursement for travel as well as daily per diem ($125.00/Day). We offer a competitive wage and encourage internal advancement for our employees. After completion of our training programs, you can be eligible for performance-based wage increases and could be promoted to positions such as Unit Supervisor and/or Project Manager. Though experience in an industrial field is a plus we do have entry level positions available. Daily Responsibilities -Check in with our Smartcenter and outline all activities for that shift. -Load and unload equipment for transportation to/from job sites across the United States. -Stage equipment around jobsites and perform equipment checklists. -Ability to read wrapping specification sheets designed by our engineering department. -Install heaters and insulation around heat affected zones. -Adhere to all company/client rules and regulations, PPE Requirements, etc. -Ability to cope with fluctuating schedule. -Able to carry an upwards of 60lbs, work in tight spaces and at high elevations. -Open to working in various types of weather conditions. -Other duties as assigned. Qualifications -Experience with troubleshooting equipment. Electrical and mechanical aptitude. -Experience working in an industrial atmosphere (Refinery, Power Plant, Nuclear) -Valid Drivers license with reliable means of transportation. -Ability to pass extensive backround and drug screens required by our customers. -TWIC card, or ability to obtain preferred. -Must be able to travel extensively and work variable hours. -Ability to work with minimal Supervision as well as working part of a team. -High school diploma or GED.
