Hosted locally by Malik Books, the virtual event will be moderated by New York Times bestselling author Morgan Jerkins. Panelists include Genevieve West, who helped edit the new book, Patrick Dougher, the artist for the new cover of Their Eyes Were Watching God, and Lucy Ann Hurston, scholar and niece of Zora Neale Hurston. The volume also features an introduction by New York Times bestselling author Henry Louis Gates Jr. Rich in history, literature, and theater, this event will celebrate and honor the contributions of Zora Neale Hurston.
