Description

AGOURA HILLS, CA — All city facilities closed for in-person visitors Sunday as an omicron-fueled surge of COVID-19 continues to pummel Agoura Hills and the rest of the country. The closures will last through the week, the city said in a news alert. The decision was made out of "an abundance of caution" to help prevent the spread of the omicron variant, the city said. Agoura Hills had 2,127 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday, an increase of nearly 300 cases from just a week before, according to Los Angeles County Public Health Department data. This comes as hospitals in Los Angeles County are quickly filling up with hundreds of new admissions every day.
