Here are the top 3 stories in Anchorage today: An Anchorage man charged with multiple counts of trafficking minors, child pornography, and illegal firearm possession has been sentenced to 35 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release by Senior U. S. District Court Judge Ralph R. Beistline. Tristan Jamal Grant, 35, had conspired with another individual to traffic two girls aged 15 and 17, who were described as runaways staying at the co-conspirator's apartment. Shawn Peters of the FBI Anchorage Field Office said Grant used "violent, manipulative means to force minors into performing commercial sex acts," while simultaneously "terrorizing our communities with other egregious acts of violence."
