S. District Court Judge Ralph R. Beistline. Tristan Jamal Grant, 35, had conspired with another individual to traffic two girls aged 15 and 17, who were described as runaways staying at the co-conspirator's apartment. Shawn Peters of the FBI Anchorage Field Office said Grant used "violent, manipulative means to force minors into performing commercial sex acts," while simultaneously "terrorizing our communities with other egregious acts of violence."
