Description
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Although the school year has provided challenges due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Vestavia Hills High School Student Government Association has been able to keep its charitable projects alive and well.
The VHHS SGA fall events, fundraisers, homecoming king and class competitions raised more than $75,000 for Children's Harbor to use for children with serious illnesses.
As well, the SGA Canned Food Drive campaign resulted in 20,007 cans and non-perishable goods being divided between Vestavia Hills United Methodist Food Bank and Love In Action Ministries.
