ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — COVID-19 cases are at 26.5 percent, through Thursday. As high as the positivity rate is, it marks the first decrease since the omicron variant went rampant. The Town of Hempstead is encouraging everyone to get their booster shots and is holding the Vaxmobile with Mount Sinai South Nassau. On Monday, Children can get a COVID-19 vaccine shot or booster at the Oceanside School District. It is available by appointment only from 3-6 p.m. On Tuesday, the Oceanside Library will host booster shots for all ages.
