Long Established boat rental service in Cape Coral needs a licensed Captain to provide local boating orientations for rental customers along with other duties as independent contractor. Must have good knowledge of local waterways. Will consider individuals unlicensed or retired with sufficient knowledge and ability as described. Hope to find someone that will also help maintain the boats including light repairs, cleaning, detailing, preparing for storage and other potential opportunities. Must be interested enough to get to recognize and know one boat from the other. Must be physically fit and able to board, clean, ride, operate and dock boats. Must be willing and able to communicate as in pay attention to your communication devices (answer your phone, emails, texts). Customer service orientated, dependable, punctual and professional appearance is needed. Knowledgeable of local waters including Calossahatchee River, local canal systems, San Carlos Bay, Pine Island Sound and surrounding islands like local right of ways, channels, signage, charts and general boating knowledge.
