The event includes outdoor clean-up sites in each of the seven city council districts. (FOX10 News)First responders in Mobile are facing the effects of the nation's recent COVID surge. Mobile Fire-Rescue is back to double-digit COVID-19 emergency calls each day, after seeing a decrease before the holidays. At Mobile County Metro Jail, roughly 10 percent of employees are out with the virus; 80 of the roughly 1,400 inmates have also tested positive.
