We are a local family owned HVAC business, who is growing. If you have ever thought about going to a trade school to learn about the HVAC industry, we would like your journey to start with us. We will offer you hands on training by skilled HVAC Professionals. They will guide you in your first training period usually about a year. You will learn how to prepare materials that are needed to layout the HVAC equipment required. You will learn how to set the equipment for the furnace and A/C, run line-sets, add thermostats, install unit heaters, run all programs in the service side of HVAC. Perform clean and service to maintain a healthy system, do diagnostics on equipment to understand what is causing issues. Install Humidifiers, and work on them, all equipment associated with HVAC systems. There will be testing and homework to move to the next level. Upon completion, your Mech 4 license is a requirement. If you were to attend a trade school you would invest your own money and time with training. You would also need to find a company to hire you with no experience. Our apprentice program trains you, while you're working, plus getting your education in the field. There are timelines testing is required on a 30,60,90,180 days and a year after the program starts. At the end of the program, based on your success, you can earn the opportunity for a company truck, fuel card, and a chance to lead the next generation of techs who come through the program. Salary for the apprentice program increases, with each timeline you pass successfully. Your drive and determination will set the pace for your salary. We are a team focused atmosphere, working close with leads to create a respectful relationship. If you have an extreme fear of heights, or working in a crawl space, or climbing a tall ladder, this may not be a suitable program for you. This program requires lifting over 50 pounds and working above ground at times. There is also a zero policy on inappropriate cell phone use. Heavy use of tablets and or cell to submit estimates or invoices to clients. Customer service skills are a must since you are dealing with clients daily. Communication skills between your trainer, the office and clients is of the utmost importance.
