Looking to adopt a ferret

Description

My history: I have had ferrets for a long time now. Currently for 8-9 active years, but probably more like 11-12 years in total life experience. A few years ago I had a business (group of ferrets) of 6. Over time our numbers have grown and dwindled to 3. Most of my ferrets have died of either old age or diseases commonly known to ferrets such as insulinoma or adrenal disease. This gave me a lot of experience in what to expect as they grow older. What I'm looking for: So because we have a good family and home we are looking to take in a ferret, or possibly a pair. I would prefer it to be a single ferret because the needs of a single ferret are greater. We have a family here that's used to a bigger family. A loner would be welcome w open arms. I would take a pair as well though because I do understand that they can be bonded, and should be kept together. I would prefer a male of dark coloration, but that is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Finances: Around $50 is what I'm looking for. While I do understand the current times and what they are asking in stores I am a valued home. Let me explain, I have all the experience ever needed. I have performed CPR several times on ferrets. I know what to look out for in aging ferrets, currently have 3 ferrets that I already know do well w others, a large ferret nation cage as well as back up cages, and plenty of toys and playtime. I offer a forever home. They are NEVER, and I mean ever leaving this family. This is just as much for them as it is for us. A rehoming fee is usually to ensure that "the pair stays together" or to "ensure a good home." There's no question here as they are here to stay forever. I have had people come all the way from the bronx to drop their ferrets off to me for free just bc they were so sure i am a good home. Those 2 ferrets passed away w us both at very old ages. If you have questions please ask them bc the more you ask the more I know you aren't just looking for a quick pay out. Travel: I live in the hilltowns western ma. I am not willing to travel more than an hour and a half. That's a three hour round trip for me. If you are more than an hour from me I would appreciate you considering meeting me. If you want to come to my house to see my set up, and watch the ferrets interract before you trust this home then come on by. Things I'm might ask you: How old? Have they ever been to the vet, or had any medical concerns I need to be aware of? Most ferrets in the US are fixed and descended, are yours? How did you come by you ferret(s)? What are you currently feeding them? What is their coloration and/or pics? Why I made this ad like this: Weeding through other peoples ads can be difficult, and it only took me about a week before I decided it was smarter to do it this way. Some people are really tough to communicate with, and most people already know what they want (like me for example). This allows for someone to know what I'm all about up front. I don't play games, and I'm quite thorough and this helps to focus on ppl that are invested in the same things I am. If you read all of it I very much so appreciate your time, and weather or not you choose to reach out to me please have a blessed day.
