Job Summary: The Distribution Team at Wente Vineyards is looking for an E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist to join our dynamic team to join our dynamic team. The E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist manages daily wine shipments, fulfillment logistics, and inventory management. Individual will work closely with our concierge team to coordinate shipments and provide outstanding customer delivery experiences. Following LEAN principles, they will ensure work area is organized, and continue to improve work processes, so that delivery flow remains at optimum levels. Will be required to operate material handling equipment including skids, pallet handlers and hand trucks. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager. This is a full time (40 hours per week) position. This position offers paid vacation, holidays and competitive medical, dental, vision, 401K and life insurance. Essential Duties: Responsible for the fulfillment of direct to consumer (DTC) wine orders and sample order requests. Responsible for coordinating subscription services and club shipments as directed from the concierge team. Maintain the flow of inventory and perform regular inventory counts. Utilize LEAN principles to maintain organized and efficient workspaces and processes. Load and unload cases and pallets, utilizing a variety of methods, manual carry, hand truck and forklift operation. Enter inventory transfer requests to customer service based on daily orders and inventory needs. Works closely with our third-party carriers (Fed Ex, UPS), utilizing carrier software tools to schedule and track pick-ups and deliveries. Works with international shipments, providing required export documents. Provide direction to contract labor personnel for packing and order fulfillment, ensuring labor is scheduled appropriately and effectively. Communicate with cross-functional departments to ensure supply inventory is maintained. Complies and enforces company’s Safety and Health Policy Non-Physical Demands/Qualifications Previous shipping and inventory experience preferred. Experience utilizing JD Edwards or similar inventory software preferred. Excellent computer skills required. Ability to handle a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to schedule and complete tasks with maximum efficiency. Ability to use good judgement and stay self-motivated under limited direction. Experience using Fed Ex, UPS and other third-party carrier software. Experience working with MS Office, Outlook and database programs. Good reading, writing and math skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to give direction and work effectively as part of a team. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking, desired Experience driving a forklift, desired Physical Demands/Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to drive a forklift. Ability to stand and walk on concrete for extended periods of time. Stand on concrete.
